Ile a Vache

Île-à-Vache is a small tropical paradise located in the Caribbean Sea south of Haiti, across from the town of Les Cayes. Natural, untraveled, undeveloped, and utterly unique, a rarity in today's world. And there are no cars: you get around on foot, on horseback, or by boat, a complete escape from the urban frenzy! Île-à-Vache offers its visitors more than twenty beaches, among the most beautiful in the Caribbean. The local population, very welcoming, makes a living from fishing and agriculture. Here, tourism is progressing slowly, sustainably, seeking to create places of peace and well-being, while helping local communities.

 

The Suites

In one of our two suites, the Jacques Roumain Suite (which sleeps six) and the Dany Laferrière Suite (which sleeps four), you'll forget the rest of the world, perched on a hill with magnificent views, lulled by a refreshing breeze, five minutes from the magnificent Anse Dufour beach, one of the most beautiful in the world. You'll feel at home, in peace and privacy, immersed in Haitian art in the middle of a lush park. You'll benefit from attentive service provided by authentic Ilavachois and savor the wonderful cuisine of Véliciane Dupont (catering exclusively for guests staying at Suites la Colline).
